In many instances external works require access from both the interior as well as the exterior of buildings.
Such operations may include window cleaning and in some cases minor maintenance operations To ensure operative fall arrest safety eyebolts, Roof Anchors and ladder restraints are the common user friendly solutions.

An Identity disc is positioned behind all eyebolts stating that the eyebolt is for attachment of rope access/PPE only and the next date of inspection.
The general factors to be considered are as follows:
The structure, both directly and indirectly, must be able to withstand the shock load of a person falling.
The user must be able to attach and detach him or herself without putting themselves at risk from a fall.
The safety anchor must not be positioned within 150mm of a structural edge.
